Schoolhouse
Dear Friends of Felta Schoolhouse,
It's been a slow but rewarding experience to refurbish our beloved schoolhouse. Thanks to a broad range of skilled and generous supporters (see list at left), we have managed to re-capture a truly historic space.
The building is now ready to host meetings and other gatherings for the community. West Side Union School District owns and manages the site. School Board meetings, parent support groups, staff development, and meetings all take place in the Schoolhouse.
We are working to broaden the range of groups that may rent the building for similar gatherings.
In the meantime, we will continue our efforts to improve the site with landscaping, lighting, and improved parking areas.
Funds are needed for trees and plants, irrigation and on-going site development. Your contributions to Felta Schoolhouse Fund of the Felta Education Foundation are 100 per cent deductible.
