The foundation also provides funds for new and imaginative programs throughout the year with the Mini-Grant offerings.  We fund projects that might enliven a specific grade level curriculum, as well as funding projects/resources across grade levels.

The process is initiated with the staff at West Side Elementary.  They engage in a collaborative process of identifying a specific need.  Once this is established, the process of formulating ideas for a grant begins.  A committee approach is offered in supporting the staff fulfill the needs once each grant is approved.
